The Source Intervention:

Providing maximum possible resources to overcome issues affecting the
community at the source of such issues is called as Source Intervention.

Today, one of the most populous nations struggle to provide basic amenities to
its people. People migrate to cities in search of livelihood, thereby creating
slums,unemployment and social unrest.

On the other hand developed economies can no longer ignore the emerging
markets and consumers. Major corporations move towards these countries to
provide and acquire services and goods.

Countries like India, have tremendous potential in terms of human resources
and emerging consumers.

Rapid economic changes brings focus on the vast majority of people who can't
afford even basics like going to a decent school or getting gainful employment.

Schools for India would like to bring together the UK Corporations who are
planning to enter India and the needy people of rural India in to a fruitful
partnership.

Schools for India, offers to facilitate UK based corporations, who are already
operating in India or going to set up operations in India, to fulfil their Corporate
social responsibilities by aiding in building and running 'state of the art' schools
in rural India.

This will enable the Corporations to come closer to the community in which they
operate in.

Schools for India is planning to build schools across rural India, to provide
education to the under privileged children. Schools for India is also partnering
with entities in India who have a similar vision. Schools for India is creating the
best in class infrastructure with standard processes and methodologies there by
reducing the cost of construction and ongoing operations.

6000 Schools have been planned in over 600 districts across India by 2020.
Established in 2006, Schools for
India-UK is a non-profit charitable
