The historic connection between US and India ensures that the social and business interactions are ever increasing. The corporations in US has enormous opportunity to tap the potential of India's emerging market. Also the number people of Indian origin in US is very high. They have very good ties with their land of origin. Though Indian economy is booming, it also has the potential problems like overcrowding in cities and every increasing slums. The rural India is still in grime poverty resulting in social and political unrest. In order to keep the open economy going and tap the potential of the rural India, it makes sense to engage the people of rural India constructively by helping them build their lives. |
