

The online portal for the teachers and support staff of Schools for India
program to interact.
To provide the quality teaching staff, Schools for India aims at recruiting the
local talent as much as possible, who would be trained by Schools for India on
an ongoing basis.
From the year 2008, Schools for India will set up the Regional Training centers in
India to train the faculties who would be teaching in the schools.
To ensure that the quality is maintained, the best faculties are selected, trained
and then compensated on par with the similar positions anywhere in Indian
cities, along with provision of living quarters to enable them to work in the rural
areas.
As per Schools for India’s vision, the Information Technology and the online
medium will enable the Teachers and staff to get connected across India to
exchange information and gain valuable knowledge on the best practices
followed in other schools.
This portal will also provide online education content and will help in conducting
e-learning programs and video conferences.
Schools for India aims at providing employment to 600,000 teaching and non
teaching staff by 2020.

To ensure that each of the schools has their own online space for collaboration, with each cluster of schools would be able to interact and share information and best practices online.
Over a period of time all the schools would be interconnected through this portal to make it as the most powerful online medium helping the Teachers and students.

Schools for India will be partnering with various training institutions across the country.
Every effort will be made to create free training modules for any aspiring teachers across the country.
Real life case studies and teaching methods will be made available.
Periodic refreshes courses and online test would be conducted to keep the teachers up to date with new methods in teaching.
